One of our values at Village is to develop a culture of prayer and dependency. Our natural instinct is to be self-sufficient, so we commit to becoming the people God calls us to be by depending on Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our desire is to be a church that fully believes Jesus when he says, “Apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). Therefore, we don’t see prayer as just one of many things we do, but as the most important thing we do.

During July and August, we are gathering for prayer every other Wednesday from 7:30–8:30pm in our building on Upper Newtownards Road—a time to worship and pray for our church and our city.
