Village

Communities

Throughout the Gospels we read of Jesus being in community with others. Many times we read of him sharing meals with his disciples and teaching others through informal conversations and interactions. We are committed to communicating the Gospel message in this way within communities that reflect the Gospel values of humility, service, and generosity. We want people to experience church as a network of relationships rather than just a meeting you attend or a place you enter.

During the week, we meet as smaller groups, called Village Communities, to share meals together and to spend time reading and discussing the Bible, praying, and encouraging one another.

We currently have 8 Communities dotted around East Belfast.

Interested in leading a group?

We’re always looking for people who love Jesus, love others, and want to see gospel-shaped community grow in East Belfast. Leading a Village Community isn’t about having it all together — it’s about being willing to walk with others as you follow Jesus together. Here’s what we’re looking for in leaders:

Character – Someone pursuing Jesus with integrity and humility, growing in grace and modelling what it means to follow him in everyday life.
Commitment – Willing to invest in a group of people over time, helping them to live out our shared rhythms of worship, community, and mission.
Care – Ready to open ad share your life; to pray, listen, and walk with people through both joy and struggle.
Connection – Committed to staying connected with the wider church family — attending leader gatherings, keeping in touch with staff, and being part of what God is doing across Village.
Conviction – Passionate about seeing people meet Jesus, mature in faith, and join in his renewal of all things.
