TODAY’S BIBLE VERSE

The angel said to the women, “Don’t be afraid. I know that you are looking for Jesus, the one who was killed on the cross. But he is not here. He has risen from death as he said he would. Come and see the place where his body was."

DEVOTIONAL

On that very first Easter morning, the women were in for the most wonderful surprise. The tomb was empty! Jesus had come back to life, just as He promised He would. Nothing is more powerful than Him, not even death. Jesus is the Rescuer King that God promised, God’s own Son, who came to save us from sin; When we put our trust in Him, we get to be friends with God and live with Him forever.

PRAYER

Dear Jesus, thank You for loving me so much that You died on the cross for me. And thank You that you are alive again, just a You promised. Please help me to trust You and to love You with all of my heart. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
