TODAY’S VERSE

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5:7 ESV

DEVOTIONAL

Do you know what gravity is? It’s the force that pulls everything down to the earth. You can’t see it, but without it, you’d float away! Can you see wind? Nope, but you know it’s there because it rustles the leaves in the trees and blows through your hair. You can’t see oxygen either, but it fills your lungs so that you can breathe.

Faith is about believing in something that we can’t see. When we walk by faith, we’re trusting God’s promises and His plans, even when we can’t understand what He’s doing in our lives. And guess what?…it pleases God when we believe His Word over our feelings, fears or circumstances. To walk in faith, you need a heart that loves Jesus. Reading your Bible and praying will help you know Him more and draw close to Him.

PRAYER

Dear God, thank You that Your have called us to walk by faith and not by sight. Please help me to trust in Your promises and to love Jesus with all my heart. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
